Barcode scanning runs through every stage of Wallace’s operation — intake, press, bindery, kitting, and outbound shipment. Each file and printed component is tied to the correct version record so issues are identified before materials leave the building.

File Intake Against a Version Manifest

Every file is checked against a publisher-provided manifest before production begins. Grade level, state edition, language variant, and adoption year are confirmed before preflight. Barcode scans connect each file to its production record. Files that do not match are held for review.

Wallace's G7 Master Certification allows each edition to run to its approved color profile. When multiple state editions print simultaneously, each version stays visually consistent with approved standards.

Scan Verification at Press, Bindery, and Kitting

Every component carries a barcode tied to its version record. Scans verify the correct file at press, the correct components at bindery, and the correct kits and shipments outbound. If something does not match, production stops immediately. Problems are identified during production, not after delivery.

Each version follows its own approval process. Updates approved for one edition do not carry over automatically to another. Every proof record remains tied to its specific version.
